THE LESSONS

All lessons are conducted on a one to one basis and you can choose where you want to be picked up, from home – school – work – college (within a reasonable distance). This door to door service is free.

On your first lesson you will need to produce both parts of your driving licence for us to see – to make sure that you are legally able to drive on the roads.

You will be handed an appointment and progress card to record the topics that we have covered on your lesson. This will help you to keep track of how you are progressing throughout your training. You will receive professional tuition from an experienced D.S.A. approved instructor and you will be continually assessed. You will have mock tests and these will also be recorded on your training card.

During your lesson you will have the benefit of in car tuition that will help you to pass your Theory Test – it's a good idea to have a few driving lessons before you take this test. You will certainly benefit from some driving experience before taking the Hazard Perception Test – although you will be given a demonstration video on what to look for, there is no substitute for real life experience.

Be guided by your instructor on when to apply to take your Practical Driving Test. We all want you to pass as quickly as possible but you would probably waste a lot of money if you decided to take your test before you are competent enough to do so.
